Step 1: Visit the official website
Visit the official website of Haryana Police: https://haryanapolice.gov.in/login
Step 2: Login or Register
If you have an existing account, click “Login with User ID and Password” on the right.
If you don’t have an account, click “Create Citizen Login” and select “No Family ID” when prompted.
Step 3: Fill in the details
Complete the required details accurately, ensuring that the user ID and password are stored securely. A registration confirmation message will be sent to the given mobile number.
Step 4: Log in again
Return to https://haranapolice.gov.in/login and log in using the registered mobile number or by entering the User ID and Password.
Step 5: Access the Character Certificate section
Go to the Character Certificate section by clicking on “Character Certificate” in the left corner. Then, click “Add Character Certificate Request.”
Step 6: Complete Details
Fill the required information, and upload documents like Aadhar Card, Voter Card or Driving License. At least two address proofs are required. Add any additional information in the Notes section, such as the purpose of police verification.
Step 7: Submit the Form
After filling the form completely, submit it. There is a nominal fee of Rs. Payment of Rs 50 can be made through UPI.
Step 8: Check Status
After submission, log in again and go to the character certificate section. Click on “Search and View Character Certificate” to check the status of your request.
