Launched as a Rs 600 crore initiative, the scheme benefits 22.89 lakh families by providing them free travel on Haryana roadways.
Families with annual income less than Rs 1 lakh are eligible for this scheme.
Each beneficiary can enjoy free travel up to 1,000 kilometers annually.
Smart cards will be issued to the beneficiaries for seamless travel.
The government fee for each card is currently fixed at Rs 50, which is not refundable.

The Head of the Family (HoF) must have an active mobile number registered in the Family ID.

Click on “Apply Happy Card” option prominently displayed on the homepage.
- Alternatively, you can directly visit https://ebooking.hrtransport.gov.in/#/ppp/apply/happy to start the application process.
- Enter the Family ID number as prompted.
- An OTP will be sent to the HoF mobile number for verification.
- Upon logging in, the names of all the family members will be displayed
- Select District Office: Select the district office where you want to collect the hard copy of the bus pass.
- Select Collection date: You will be allotted about a week’s time to collect the pass from the chosen district office, allowing flexibility in the schedule of pickup.
- Verification for pass creation: Click on the names of the members for whom you want to create a pass.
- Enter any number for OTP generation and then provide the Aadhaar number for Aadhaar-based OTP verification.
- Repeat this process for all the family members.
