Unlike traditional pension application methods, there is no need to submit separate forms for Widower Pension Scheme. The detailed information and eligibility of widows is automatically extracted from the Haryana Parivar Pehchan Certificate during block-wise verification.

The marital status tab in PPP should clearly state “Widover” along with the name of the deceased wife.

Starting from February 2024, a pension disbursement of Rs 3000 will be credited to the bank accounts of eligible widowers and unmarried individuals for the months of January 2024 and onwards.
