A total of 3,24,008 students remained absent during the board examinations held from February 22 to March 9, which included 1,84,986 high school students and 1,39,022 intermediate students. This year the number of students registered for UP Board 10th and 12th examination is 29,47,311 and 25,77,997 respectively.
